X Caliber Capital, a national direct commercial real estate lender, today announced that it is commemorating its fifth anniversary by celebrating and recognizing the key milestones that have positioned the company for future success. Since its inception, X-Caliber has added three lending verticals and an investment management company, and its lending legacy is built on decades of success.

X-Caliber Capital was born on July 1, 2017, when co-founders Chris and Sharon Callahan completed the purchase of a successor company called The Phares Company, a Kentucky-based HUD and GNMA licensed mortgage lender and loan servicer and nationally recognized with twenty-six years of experience. They then changed the name of the company to X-Caliber Capital and established its headquarters in Irvington, NY with five team members.

The following year, in 2018, they launched X-Caliber Funding LLC, a bridge lending platform that provides borrowers of senior housing, healthcare and multi-family properties with interim lending solutions until permanent FHA loan can be executed.

Over the past eighteen months, they have integrated innovative national lending platforms including CastleGreen Financea C-PACE (Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy) capital provider, as well as X-Grade Rural Capital, a USDA approved lender. More recently, the company launched X-Caliber Investment Management (XCIM), a specialist company and investment fund.
